Yesterday I decided to explore North of Oldham, Saddleworth if you will. When I was a kid we spend lots of happy hours in this tea both with parents and friends. It’s been a long time since I visited. So time to put that right.
I started in Uppermill with a walk along the canal and found a lovely cafe under the railway arches, coffee and bacon sandwich was spit on along with some nice images.
A quick look at the OS map reminded me that the canal runs through the Pennines and comes out at Marsden on the Yorkshire side. I had seen some YouTube clips of the Diggle end of the tunnel so thought I’d explore. I parked at the Navigation Pub and set off along the canal.
These images are all hand held with my Leica Q3 edited in Lightroom.
