Quarry Bank Mill

I’m not sure if this classes as a museum or not but either way it’s a great place to visit. It’s a National Trust managed place and has lots of great things to see and do as well as the mill.

On this visit it was all about the Mill and this blog in particular the outside of the mill building. There is a full set of internal images on my Foto app page as follows.

The building itself reminds me of lots of mills from the 1800’s, that I grew up with in Oldham. I decided to process these images in Black and White once I imported them into Lightroom, as I think that suited the mood of the weather on the day of the visit. I guess that’s the beauty of shooting in RAW file types that you have full flexibility to process as you like.

These images were shot on my Fuji XT-5 with the Sigma 10 to 18mm f2.8 lens. All are handheld and processed in Lightroom.
