Having been inspired by the lighthouse at Morro Joble when on holiday in Fuerteventura, I decided to carry on with a mini series about another lighthouse.
This series of images were all taken on Talacre Beach in North Wales. It’s not far from Prestatyn and maybe a hour from home. This is the point of Ayr Lighthouse, it doesn’t look like it is use but I’m not 100% sure.
There is a series of caravan parks and holiday homes along the beach here and I’m sure in the height of summer gets quite busy with holiday makers. Today it was just me and a few did walkers.
The sand dunes that you can see in these images stretch a fair way along the coast and whoever looks after this has installed boardwalks as well as paths that walks have trodden into the dunes.
These images were all shot on my Fuji X-T5, and both the 10 to 18mm, and 18 to 50mm Signa lenses, both f2.8. The Classic Negative film simulation is the basis of the Lightroom edits in each case.

There will be more sets of images from Lighthouses as the year progresses, so stay tuned.
