This past weekend I hit an invite to a Super Bowl party by one of my friends. Steve and his brothers have had a superbowl party every year. This year John hosted the party at his house in Great Lumley, near Chester-Le- Street.
Given that the superbowl is always on a Sunday my friend Steve invited me to his house on Saturday so we could have a walk and a few beers etc. Steve lives in Garstang and part of the walk we did was along a portion of the Lancaster canal. There are no locks on this canal as it follows the land which is flat.
These images were all taken on the canal section of the walk. Whilst there might not be any locks there are a good few bridges and coupled with the narrow boats that provides some interest for a few images.
These images are all taken hand held with my Leica Q3, and edited in Lightroom.

We travelled to Great Lumley on Sunday and once we arrived it was sport all the way. City won at Anfield, which hasn’t happened for a while. We then had a few hours in a lovely pub and then managed to stay awake for the Super Bowl, with the aid of more beers and pizza. A cracking weekend.

Nice photos Steve 📷👍
Thanks Les, appreciate it
