I took the opportunity today to visit the wonderful RHS Garden Bridgewater. What a fabulous place and here are a selection of the images I took.

These images were taken on an impromptu walk with Charlie the cocker spaniel. This church is a quirky building with no straight lines.

This morning I had a walk around Reddish Vale Country Park looking for a “pano” image of the viaduct.

I couldn’t believe the change in the weather, after the rain and high winds. It was a nice surprise, so I took the opportunity to photograph some of the nice older buildings in Stockport Town Centre in the nice sunlight.

The hall is undergoing renovations so I decided to take images of the small details.

I’ve been to Chatsworth House on numerous occasions over the past few years, including the COVID years. Each time I ventured there the house itself was closed. This was for various reasons, renovations, COVID etc etc etc. The opportunity presented itself on Wednesday 1st October 2025 to actually visit and the house would be open.
