Glasson – Another Look

Yesterday I decided to carry on with my fascination, some would say obsession, with all things run down and abandoned.

I remember from my last visit that there were a goodly number of abandoned boats. They might not be abandoned totally but they look like it.

I parked at the visitors centre next to the docks area. My focus this time was along the River Lune, I decided this as I saw a bridge and some boats of the drive in.

On the beach, if you can call it that, is the first boat you see in these images. The second group of boats were clustered around the bridge I mentioned earlier.

These images were all shot on my Fuji XT-5 with the Sigma 18 to 50 f2 lens, all handheld. I did have a CPL on for the shots near the bridge.

I’ve tried to capture the moody nature of the morning, which was damp and dank with odd rain showers. Let me know what you think.
