The weather has improved somewhat which means it’s easier to get out and about. Whilst out and about looking for stone slabs for Tracey’s new garden we came across a sign for Turton Tower. I registered that for future use.
Little did I know that future use would come the following day. I’d always planned a trip out on Friday but decided due to the heat that a walk in the hills wasn’t for me.
So a little research led me back to Turton Tower, who knew it was a house rather than just a tower and it’s been around since the 1400’s.
