I’m lucky enough to get invited on two separate golf trips each year, and the trip to Scotland I have been going on for maybe 18 years or so, I think. This years trip was again into the Scottish Borders and we based ourselves in the lovely town of Peebles. It’s well worth a visit even if you don’t like golf, there is lots to see and do here. The hotel we stayed at, The Tontine, is decent and is well positioned for all the local amenities. The pub and curry house.
