Negative Space Challenge

This months challenge in the OneLandscape group is to create an image that has lots of negative space featured in the image. Whilst Tracey and I were out walking with Charlie earlier I spotted a possible alternative image to the one that I had already taken for this challenge. The images here are the best of the bunch from the ones I took along with the image that I have submitted for the challenge.

This image was taken on the road which goes up past Edenfield cricket ground. I liked the line tree but this is a little too busy to be a contender for the nedgative space challenge.

This is the scene that I thought might be a good image for the challenge and I do think this looks better in black and white. Whilst I like this image it’s not the contender I thought it might be.

This image caught my eye on our walk this morning, but clearly is too busy to be a contender.

I took this image o

n the promenade at New Brighton, on the Wirral. The coloured benches attracted me to this scene originally but I soon realised that this was a contender for the nedgative space challenge. This is the image that I submitted.
