For various reasons that I spoke about in my last post, I haven’t been out with my camera and whilst the Fuji X100V with me to Scotland it didn’t come out. This is mainly because the dates were full of golf and socialising. It’s hard to carry a camera as you play but I did take some images with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The images that follow are not portfolio images but they do give a flavour of the trip to Pitlochry with the lads.

Pitlochry GC – the brook in front of the 18th green. When we arrived at the course it was raining quite hard and the Golf Pro suggested that we delay our T off by about an hour. I took this image mainly for the mist on the hills in the distance, but the brook does make a good leading line to lead the eye through to the hills in the background.

Crieff GC – This was the perfect day for golf, the weather was great and it wasn’t to hot or cold. I have no idea what the fungus is thats growing on this tree stump but I thought it made good foreground to take an image of the course and the rolling hills in the distance.

Alyth GC – we struck lucky again with the weather, the rai stopped as we started and started as we stopped!!.This is taken at the back of the T box of the first hole. I really liked this course.

Moulin Hotel – you can see the hotel where we stayed in the middle of this image. I would recommend it, not because it’s the best but it has a great vibe. It also has a fabulous bar, and the facilities in the hotel are all you need. I took this image as we walked back after having had a curry in an Indian Street Food restaurant. The road provides a great leading line, and of course the light on the clouds is lovely. I really like this place.
