On and off over my whole life I’ve been to this location, and I’m thinking it must total over 100 times. I’m not sure if at 62 years old that’s a lot, considering when I was a kid we almost loved here in the 6 weeks holiday. Me and Tracey have tried at least twice recently to find a car parking spot, but each time there haven’t been any.
I’ve had the pleasure of looking after Charlie at my house this past week and decided we would go early, get a car park spot and have a wander. The circular route is long enough for both him and me, and we were both in need of a drink when we got back to the car. Getting there early worked as more or less all the car park spots were taken.
The walk from a photography point of view was merely a reconnaissance mission, what could I see, and all images were effectively test shots for what might come later. Let’s see. Here are the best of the 70 or so images I took on the walk.

All the images were taken with my Leica Q3, handheld with all edits done in Lightroom.
