Conwy Castle and Walls

This weekend it was my future daughter in laws 30th birthday and with Tracey being away in Croatia I was invited to have a birthday meal in Llandudno. So yesterday off I went to Llandudno armed with y Fuji X100V, I took this mainly to take pictures of Daisy and family but when it was suggested that we go for a walk around Conwy, I knew exactly what would be coming with me.

When I copied the images from the SD card into Lightroom I’d actually taken 70 images, of course this was a mixture family shots plus images from in and around Conwy. These images are all of Conwy castle and the Walls. I’ve never walked around the walls before and was surprised how much of it still exists in decent nick.

I’m always impressed by this castle, its been quite a while since I’ve been inside but this image caught my eye as we crossed the road heading to the quayside to start the walk.

There are quite a lot of boats in the estuary here at Conwy, this image through a break in the walls caught my eye.

Lovely vista from the walls across to the castle and bridge.

All roads lead to the castle.

They really are lots of well preserved sections of the castle walls.

Daisy and family enjoying the view.

The image quality that this small camera possesses is quite remarkable really. These are all edited with the Classic Negative film simulation added in Lightroom with a few minor tweaks from me. A wonderful day in a lovely place.
