Over the years a good proportion of the images I have taken involve the setting sun. This has mainly been in Corfu, as that has been my main summer holiday destination for many years.
For various reasons 2025 summer holiday is in the beautiful Cavtat in Croatia. I decided that I’d focus more on other aspects of the holiday this year and limit my sunset shoots.
I was amazed to discover that our last night before flying home would be the only chance I’d have to take some sunset images. Mainly due to always going out in the evening after the sun had set.
So we sat in a bar on the harbour at Cavtat and with beer in hand I could see a few compositions that would make a decent image at sunset. Coupled with a few other images I took on route to said bar, I have a collection of images that make up my Cavtat sunset shoot for 2025. These are all taken with my iPhone 15 ProMax and edited in Lightroom on my mobile phone. I hope you like.
